Raja Muda postponed

On the 7th of October, the Malaysian Government announced that new CMCO conditions would apply to certain Red Zones within the country. The Royal Selangor Yacht Club in Port Klang is located in one of these Red Zones.

For an initial 14-day period starting the 9th of October, only essential services will be allowed in this area, most activities including sports will be banned, and most movement in and out of the Red Zone will not be permitted.

If the number of Covid 19 cases in the Port Klang area does not reduce to an acceptable number within 14 days, it is quite possible that the CMCO period could be extended.

The RSYC and RMSIR committees have decided that, under the present circumstances, it is not possible to hold the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta on the previously announced dates of the 13th to the 21st of Number 2020.
The event is now officially postponed.

A further announcement will be made regarding the rescheduled dates for the 31st RMSIR.
